Trippie Redd updated his Instagram bio on Sunday, hinting at an August 10 release date for his forthcoming album, Life’s A Trip. The bio reads, “LIFES A TRIP. *ALBUM MODE* LEAVE ME ALONE UNLESS YOU ARE A POSITIVE SOUL. August 10th.”
The specific release date comes three days after Trippie told his fans that the album had been “pushed back” until sometime in August.

Previously, the Ohio rapper had been telling fans that the project would arrive in July.
“It’s going to drop around July and I’ve made over 35 songs for that shit,” he said during an Instagram Live broadcast this year. “I don’t know if it’s going to be all 35 songs on the album, but I’m going to tell you how it’s going to be: There’s two parts of the album. There is a more artsy, lyrical part of the album. That’s where like, ‘Taking A Walk,’ ‘Oomps Revenge,’ ‘Can You Rap Like Me 2,’ ‘How You Feel,’ all the rock songs, the R&B songs, the very artsy rap songs, and shit are going to be on that side.”
On Saturday, the 19-year-old rapper told TMZ that he would like to give LeBron James a guest verse after hearing his fellow Ohio native rap. “His voice is nice,” he said. “I feel like if I gave him what I wanted him to say on a track, it would go smoothly. Like a intro or just like chant something and go into my part. I think that shit would be fire. Hell yeah. I would do something like Kanye produced it. Kanye on the track and LeBron. That’s fire.”
